Club Mission and Vision
- Mission: To foster a deep appreciation for nature, inspire environmental stewardship, and promote sustainable living.
- Vision: To create a community of nature enthusiasts who actively contribute to the preservation of our planet.
Our school’s Nature Club is a great rostrum for every Dominican to connect with the environment, foster a deeper appreciation for nature, and take action to preserve our planet for future generations. Students take initiatives to reduce, reuse and recycle the degradable and biodegradable waste through various activities such as poster- making, creating wealth out of waste, growing medicinal plants, planting saplings, managing solid waste, conducting quiz sessions and performing skits related to environmental issues.
Club Activities and Events
- Nature hikes and exploration: Organize regular hikes to local parks, forests, or nature reserves.
- Plantation drives: Participate in tree-planting initiatives and create a school or community garden.
- Wildlife conservation projects: Conduct research on local wildlife, participate in birdwatching, or support wildlife rehabilitation centers.
- Environmental awareness campaigns: Organize workshops, seminars, or competitions on topics like climate change, pollution, and resource conservation.
- Nature photography and art contests: Encourage creativity and appreciation for nature through visual arts.
- Camping and outdoor skills workshops: Teach members camping basics, survival skills, and outdoor etiquette.
- Guest speakers: Invite environmental experts, scientists, or activists to share their knowledge and experiences.
