At St. Dominic’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, we are thrilled to present Dominican Desafío, our annual event that challenges students to push their limits, showcase their talents, and work together in the spirit of teamwork and friendly competition. This event is designed to bring out the best in our students, encouraging them to excel in various fields, from academics and sports to arts and leadership.
Event Highlights:
- Academic Quiz Competition: Students will participate in a rigorous academic quiz that tests their knowledge across various subjects, promoting intellectual growth and quick thinking.
- Sports Tournaments: A series of sports tournaments, including football, basketball, and athletics, will be held, highlighting physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among participants.
- Creative Arts Showcase: The Dominican Desafío will feature a creative arts segment where students can exhibit their talents in painting, sculpture, photography, and other visual arts, fostering creativity and self-expression.
- Debate and Public Speaking Contests: Students will engage in thought-provoking debates and public speaking contests, developing their communication skills and confidence in expressing their ideas.
- Team Challenges: Various team challenges, including problem-solving tasks and obstacle courses, will be organized to test the students’ ability to work together and overcome obstacles.
- Cultural Performances: The event will also include cultural performances such as dance, music, and drama, showcasing the diverse talents and cultural heritage of our student body.
- Leadership Workshops: Leadership workshops will be conducted as part of Dominican Desafío, empowering students to take initiative, lead with integrity, and inspire their peers.
